Perryville Stars Fastpitch Mission Statement

The Perryville Stars Club is committed to providing a quality softball experience. The goal of the organization is to provide a program that emphasizes fun, development of sound skills, and healthy competition.

Who Are We?

Perryville Stars Fastpitch was founded in 2009 with one team. The organization has grown since to include 6 teams in 2015. We believe in teaching the right way to play, stressing fundamentals at all times. Also, we strongly believe that athletics provides a platform to teach life lessons that our ladies will need to be successful in whatever endeavors they may choose to pursue. 

We also have a college showcase program for ladies who are talented enough and wish to pursue playing softball at the collegiate level. Our Stars Elite team is comprised of seven ladies who are graduates of the Perryville Stars Fastpitch program and 5 ladies from other areas of the region. This team competes at a high level of competitive tournaments throughout the Midwest.

Parental Commitment and Responsibilities

Parents of ladies who successfully make a team with Perryville Stars Fastpitch will be responsible to—

1. Provide positive support to their daughters and their coaches
2. Cheer and encourage all players on the team in a positive manner and not just their own
3. Conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times
4. Financially cover a $200 player fee which covers:
   1. Cost of uniforms
   2. Cost of equipment
   3. Cost of games and tournaments ( In 2014, our average tournament cost was $325)
5. Financially cover a $50 organizational fee which covers organizational fees such as web hosting & development, insurance, marketing, etc.
6. Assist in team specific fundraisers which is at each team’s discretion.
